Perfect for my coffee table!
I had an old table with a unique top. Solid maple, five sides. I decided to update it by replacing the five spindly legs with a mod chrome pedestal. This was one of the few that came in a low size! Ordering was easy, and it came promptly. It arrived in perfect condition. (My cat loved the box and packing paper) I had to buy screws and drill holes, but that's expected. The stem just slides into the base and the top, but the overlap is long and strong so it doesn't wobble. And the center hole made it easy to center on my odd five-lobed tabletop. I love the way the wide base looks, plus it makes table very sturdy fo when the cat jumps on it. It has leveling feet underneath, which helped my Pour-on Resin flow smoothly for a perfect finish. And if I ever move, it can easily pack flat.
